Yep, that’s right! With just four simple ingredients needed, this is by far the EASIEST cookie recipe I’ve ever made. Also (in case you haven’t already guessed) it’s healthy! No butter, no flour, no baking soda, no sugar (only in the chocolate chips)…get that garbage outta here! Plus does anyone really have the time to mix all those things together? Or the arm strength? Not worth it.
I’ve been pretty busy so far this summer so I’ve been selective when choosing recipes that don’t take centuries to make. I’ve been picking items that take about 30 mins or less to cook and that I already have most of the ingredients for so that I’m in and out of the kitchen quickly while still making myself satisfied. Not gonna lie, though, when I first discovered this recipe for 4 ingredient oat cookies I was super hesitant. My inner thoughts: Wow, I can’t believe I found a chocolate chip cookie recipe that only uses four ingredients and is healthy and quick! And probably tastes like heaven on earth because I’m a major chocoholic/dessert fanatic! Wait. No. That can’t be right. It’s too good to be true. These cookies probably taste like sh!*

These cookies taste marvelous. And since they aren’t packed full with junk, they also double as a great snack! Did I mention while they’re baking, they smell up your house way better than any Yankee Candle could?
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 cup whole grain rolled oats
- 2 tbsp. dark chocolate chips
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- Preheat oven to 350
- Mix ingredients in bowl
- Spoon mixture onto baking sheet. Should be able to form about 12 small cookies. Slip into oven for 15 mins
